Introducing our refreshed website and new monthly running guide

We kicked off the new year with an overhaul of our website and the addition of some exciting features, including our new Toolbox page and the introduction of our new monthly running guide, Miles Ahead. With plenty more in store for 2026, here’s an overview of what’s new and a peek at what’s next.

Our new, cleaner website

While the Raleigh Running Hub still runs on WordPress, we recently updated our setup to have more control over our content. In the short term, this means we have to build more of the website from scratch. You may notice a more minimal, cleaner appearance to our website and calendars. We are excited to have many new features are our disposal and look forward to building this out. Stay tuned!

Our logo and identity

What started out as a sketch has now come to fruition! A special thanks to Think Promotional Group for helping us refine our website logo and bringing it to a digital format. Like our website, our identity will continue to evolve, but our mission remains the same. We are here to be your guide to the sport of running and the greater Raleigh running community.

Your monthly running guide, Miles Ahead

Last month we introduced Miles Ahead, our new monthly snapshot of local races in Raleigh and beyond. In addition to providing an overview of our race calendar, each guide highlights unique running traditions, our monthly event picks, and reminders you need to succeed in your next race.

So, what’s next?

In the immediate term, we are working to make sure our resources are up to date and that our new website is easy to use. However, we have some fun features in the cooker – an upcoming enhancement to our race calendars, new tools and templates to help race managers, and more. Looking for something in particular? Give us a shout! We welcome your comments and suggestions.
